Who We Are
The Bali Restaurant and Cafe Association (BRCA) is a newly formed association that invites Bali’s restaurateurs to work together promoting Bali as a world-class culinary destination by raising the bar of our operational standards and sustainability management in the industry and becoming a unified, influential voice of the culinary industry in Bali. Together, we can make a difference in Bali’s culinary scene and become an influential voice for Bali restaurants and cafés to the world.
What We Offer
As a member of the BRCA, you will have access to all of our events and activities, including the BRCA’s free of charge sustainability platform. Your Restaurant / Cafe will be actively promoted on all BRCA platforms including website, social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok), as well as through active public relations. You will also have access to BRCA’s free of charge sustainability platform where our sustainability partners can share the latest information and special discount on sustainable practices and services available in Bali for you to raise the bar of your F&B business.

With nearly 40 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry, Dean Keddell is a leading hospitality professional with extensive experience in both 5-star hotels and independent restaurants; Dean is also a philanthropist and the award-winning author of Our Bali Your Bali – Bali Kita Bali Kamu.
Anthony Syrowatka
Founder
Anthony’s entrepreneurial journey within Bali’s hospitality industry since 2005 with the Viceroy Bali hotel and several restaurants has been marked by a commitment to unique luxury experiences, service excellence, sustainability and supporting the local community.

President
Certified wine educator and connoisseur with the role as President of BRCA focuses on collaboration between the boards, members and stockholder to lead the opportunity on sustainability in the food and beverage industry.
Min Siah
Vice President
As a multifaceted leader and entrepreneur, Min wears many hats with pride. Serving as Vice President of BRCA to drive impact, she is also the owner of Wheatfields Bakery (Bali) and Founder of Starter Lab (Singapore/Bali) bringing joy to the community through the art of sourdough. She also consults for Zero Foodprint Asia, a fund supporting regenerative farming and the improvement of our food systems.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a mentor to women in small business, dedicated to empowering others to achieve their greatness, and holds life’s most important role as a mother.
Jeroen van Overbeek
Vice President
Jeroen is an Ex-Corporate Executive turned Social Entrepreneur. His career spans over 30 years and his passion lies in improving the livelihoods of underprivileged people with access to safe and affordable technologies/tools which are enhancing their everyday life in the areas of water filtration and regenerative agriculture with a positive impact on the environment.
Jeroen is fervent supporter of gender equality and mentors young entrepreneurs, empowering them to achieve their grandness.
He currently runs / co-runs 3 start-ups and recently joined BRCA Board to support the execution of the strategy of the Association.
Weni Ariasty

Weni’s career in the media industry has spanned more than 15 years through her role as Manager of NOW! Bali Magazine. In that time, she has worked intimately with the tourism and hospitality industries, developing a keen understanding of their needs and growth. She hopes to contribute to its future success through her efforts with BRCA.
